Biography:

Graduation at Agronomia from State University of Maranhão (2007), Specialist in Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition in Agribusiness (2009), Master’s (2014) and Doctorate (2017) in Soil Science, area of concentration in Biology, Microbiology and Biological Processes from Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). He is an agronomist at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA), Campus São Luís – Maracanã. Has experience in the area of Agronomy, with specific training in: Soil Microbiology and Biochemistry, Biological Nitrogen Fixation, Selection of Efficient Bacteria in Fixing N2 in Legumes, and Development and Innovation of Biotechnologies for the Production of Agricultural Inoculants. Develops her research in the “Laboratory of Soil Microbiology and Biotechnology” of IFMA, Campus São Luís – Maracanã. Since then, I work with the main legumes of agricultural importance for Brazil and the world: soybeans and cowpea, as well as the main grasses such as corn and pasture. The work emphasizes soil microbiology and biochemistry, working mainly on the following topics: biological nitrogen fixation (BNF), phosphorus solubilizing bacteria and plant growth promoters, plant-microorganism interaction, rhizosphere, soil organic matter and biochemical and element cycles not only.
