Social contributions
-Rhizobial inoculant production for farmers in distinct regions in Mexico. In the rain forest of Los Tuxtlas the aim is to preserve the forest by maintaining soil fertility , thus new forests do not need to be tilled. Ongoing programs.
-Reforestation with legumes and rhizobial inoculants in Morelos.
-Talks to farmers and children on biofertilization.
-Microbial evaluation of polluted rivers in Morelos that led to political decisions to build sewage treatment plants in Cuernavaca. Member of the ravine council of Morelos 2003-2007.
-Preservation of local legume and Jatropha germplasm (native plants species that is used for biodiesel production) and identification of toxic and non toxic Jatropha cultivars.
